Planning has officially begun for the Wichita Destruction Tour. For those of you who missed out on the Sedgwick Destruction Tour, let me fill you in on what exactly it was.
The Sedgwick Destruction Tour was a massive scavenger hunt. Unlike the name depicted, the Destruction Tour wasn’t actually a tour of destruction. Taking place during the spring of 2005, the Destruction Tour took place over forty hours straight, with two teams competing to see who can complete the most goals out of a list of 50. Each goal was worth points, and each goal had to be filmed being completed. At the end, the scores were added up and the winner was announced.
The Wichita Destruction Tour will be very similar. Instead though, the two teams will compete for only 15 hours, from sunrise to sundown. The list will be three times longer, a massive 150 goals to complete. Along with those, the competition will take place in the greater metro area of Wichita, instead of the small town of Sedgwick.
We are currently in the process of organizing the list and teams, and are aiming for a April/May timeframe. The competition will all be filmed, and will be posted here for all to enjoy. So be on the look out in the coming months for more information!
